From Phonics to Reading - Feature Enhancements
The Decodable Library
- Allows teachers and students to have access to all decodable texts and lesson plans in one area, sorted by topic and skills, rather than by Unit/Lesson.
- Students may now submit their scores and annotations for all new decodable and independent interactive practice resources, and are trackable & viewable by teachers.
- All user types may print the new decodable from either the grade level unit & lesson structure, or from the decodable library, with a limit to the maximum number of print times.

Manual Grading

Lesson Planner – Added Programs
Lesson Planner is now available for Vocabulary Workshop Interactive Edition grades 1-12+, Grammar Workshop: Tools for Writing, and Grammar for Writing grades 6-12.

Shared Lesson Plans

Full Access Reports
For assignments linked to Full Access, customers can report on Domain and Skill Proficiency, Skill Priority, and Growth. The skills report even provides the teacher with recommended resources for the whole class or an individual student.
Vocabulary Workshop Interactive Edition, Tools for Excellence
Customers can access new instructional videos for each unit word across Levels A through H. Students have access to the videos, and teachers can assign them.
Grace Period
Teachers now can set a due date and allow a grace period so students can complete the assignment late. You will see the label for the grace period date and time as the end date.
Assigning and Scoring Resources (non-assessments)
Customers can assign static resources that were previously unassignable (Assignable resources are determined by individual product lines and resources). They can also score the assignment with either points, percentages, or as complete/incomplete.
Removed Autoscoring of Unsubmitted Assignments
Based on customer feedback, we removed the previous functionality, which auto-graded an assignment when it expired and gave students who had not submitted the assignment a zero. Now customers see "NA," so the grade is not averaged in reporting.
Enable Student uploading
The administrator can turn this on and off for the school. By default, it is off, but when it is enabled, teachers can require a student to upload to a non-interactive assessment.
Student uploads are limited to 750MB, and the following file types are allowed:
- Video: .mov, .mp4, .avi
- Image: .jpg, .png
- Audio: .mp3, .wav
- Word Docs and PDFs
Google Classroom Enhancement
Customers who are approved for integration by our sales department can now Sync grades to their Google grade book by clicking the button on the assignments list page when students have completed the assignment.
Schoology and Clever integration
Customers, who are approved for integration service, can select Schoology or Clever as their preferred system.
