How do I delete a Teacher?
Sadlier Connect has built in safe guards that prevent accidental deletion of a teacher who is actively using the platform.
This article provides directions for school administrators to remove teacher accounts in the event the teacher should no longer have access to Sadlier Connect.
| Only school administrators can remove a teacher from the Sadlier Connect school account using the Manage Teachers screen accessed from the gear icon. |

| Once in the Manage Teachers windows, School Administrators can use the edit icon to access the menu and Delete a teacher account. | ![]() |
| Teachers who have classes with assignments cannot be removed from the system.* |

| If the teacher account must be removed, the school administrator can assign the teacher's class(es) to another teacher. Access the Class Management screen from the gear icon. | ![]() |
| Edit the class using the edit icon. |

| From the edit class window, choose a new teacher and save. | ![]() |
| Once all classes for the teacher have been reassigned to a new teacher, return to the Manage Teachers windows and delete the teacher. |

* Teachers with shared custom assessments cannot be deleted by the school administrator. Please contact support for assistance removing teachers with custom assessments.
