Annotating Text Tools on hand held devices
The Annotating Text Tools may look or behave differently depending on the type of device you are using.
| Those using devices with touch screens will need to select a word or sentence first before annotating. Once the desired word(s) is selected, press one of the tools in the toolbox to annotate. When free style drawing on a resource, the draw tool is selected first. |

| Some touch screen devices, such as the iPad touch, require a long hold when selecting text for the annotation tools. On the iPad, long press the word or phrase to obtain the double pins. Drag the pins to change the content being selected. Once the desired content is selected, select a tool from the toolbox to apply to the selected text.
