Interactive Practice Bundle

Interactive Practice is a collection of student and teacher resources in From Phonics to Reading that support the development of students' decoding, encoding, and reading comprehension skills after initial teacher-led instruction.

Sadlier Connect has released the Decodable Library, Sound Wall, and Interactive Practice Activities in From Phonics to Reading. These resources are available to those customers who have ordered the Interactive Practice Bundle.
The Decodable Library includes many resources focusing on phonics skills such as: Alphabet Recognition Consonant Digraphs Syllable Types Word Study Skills These resources feature leveled lesson plans, interactive text and decodable passages with read aloud functionality. Many of these resources can be assigned for student practice and assessment.
The Sound Wall includes resources for: Vowel and Consonants Sounds Phonemes and Graphemes These resources help students connect phonemes (sounds) to graphemes (letters). The two distinct Sound Walls provide students the support needed to connect speech to print.
To assign resources in the Decodable Library use the paper and pen icon to the right of the resource.

Interactive Practice Activities are additional practice resources targeted to the lesson and used for student practice and lesson reinforcement.

Interactive Practice Activities must be assigned for students to access. Click the assign icon to add the resource to your assignments.

Interactive Practice Activities are not graded. Teachers will see a completed status when the student has finished the assignment.
Students receive immediate feedback including the correct answer upon completion.

Printing the Decodable Library resources:
Print settings and options may differ depending on the printer.

There are several types of resources in the Decodable Library that are printable. Printable resources will have a Print Icon in the upper right corner under "Decodable Edition".

Printable resources can be printed in booklet form:

Click the Print icon in the upper right corner.
Change the print settings* to the following:
- Change pages per sheet from 1 to 2
- Select the option for Two-Sided/Double-Sided
- Layout should be portrait

They can also be printed in booklet form after being saved as a PDF document:

Click the Print icon in the upper right corner.
Change the destination to "Print to PDF".
Name and save the file.
Open the file in Acrobat Reader
Click the Print icon in Acrobat Reader
Change the print settings* to the following:
- Change paper size and handling to "Booklet"
- Select "left" for Binding

Students can print Decodable Library resources up to 5 times and Teachers and admins can print up to 25 times.
